I have a 1991 Subaru E12 - Sdx and its last emission tests are like that. what is your idea that CO being high for high rpm.

1. Test (Idle )

CO2 % : 14.3
HC ppm : 87
O2 % : 0.60
LAMBDA : 1.01

2. Test (high rpm almost 3000)
-----------------
CO % : 1.04
CO2 % : 14.1
HC ppm : 43
O2 % : 0.34
LAMBDA : 0.98

1. check air filter element !

* The air filter was new.

* Do you know what is the my car tune up and emission values ?

Idle speed : ?
Ignition timing : ?
CO% at Idle Speed : ?
HC% at Idle Speed : ?
